The DHIS2 Annual Conference is an opportunity for DHIS2 implementers, developers, ministry representatives, technical partners, donors, and other DHIS2 experts from around the world to come together in person to share experiences, learn about the latest developments and innovations, and make connections that can lead to new partnerships and collaborations.
The 2023 Annual Conference was our biggest DHIS2 event ever, and we're hoping to welcome even more of the community in 2024! Here are the numbers from last year:

• DHIS2 Academy: Security Auditing will be hosted on 14 June at the University of Oslo. Learn more here.
• DHIS2 Academy: Implementing Integrated Information Systems & Security Compliance Management will be hosted on 17 – 20 June at the University of Oslo. This four-day training program aims at providing users with tools to understand the benefits of an integrated information system and how DHIS2 can be utilized to implement an integrated system in practice. These Terms & Conditions apply to every person registering as a participant to the DHIS2 Annual Conference.
Only fully completed registration forms will be considered. After reviewing each registration, the conference Organizers will send confirmation/information emails. These emails will include all the details related to your participation and the payment of your registration fees.
Participation is not guaranteed until full payment of the registration fees is received.
Each event has a ceiling number for participation, and the Organizers reserve the right to refuse additional registrations and to close the registration form should the maximum capacity be reached.
Payments should be made in advance, before the Annual Conference starts. Participants who make a late payment (within 3 days before the event starts) are asked to bring a copy of their payment slip to the registration desk on the first day of the event.
All bank fees and money transfer costs must be covered by the transmitter. Any negative balance will be collected on-site. Kindly indicate "DHIS2 Annual Conference" and the participant’s full name as a reference on all bank transfers.
The Organizers cannot guarantee that collaterals will be available for late registrations. All materials will be distributed on-site.
Notice of cancellation (sickness, lack of funding or any other personal reasons) must be made in writing by email to the Organizers. The date of the email will be the basis for considering refunds. Please indicate your bank details on your written cancellation. Refunds will be made after the conference. Registration fees may be refunded as follows (depending on the Organizers' contracts with their vendors).
The Organizers reserve the right to reimburse the participant after deducting costs already incurred for the bank transfers.
No refunds will be granted for unforeseen events or early termination of attendance, or any other incidents which are beyond the control of the Organizers.
In case the event cannot be held or is postponed due to events beyond the control of the Organizers, the Organizers cannot be held liable by participants for any damages, costs such as transportation, accommodation, and other expenses incurred by the participants.
All expenses in relation to the Conference, the registration, and the attendance are the sole responsibility of the participants.
Under these circumstances, the Organizers reserve the right to reimburse the participant after deducting costs already incurred for the bank transfers.
The registration fee does not include insurance. The Organizers do NOT provide any form of insurance and do not take any responsibility for accidents or illnesses that might occur during the DHIS2 Academy and in the course of travel to or from the Academy place. Therefore, each participant is solely responsible for his/her safety, security and health.
Moreover, participants shall be aware of their health insurance policy and take appropriate measures to ensure their coverage for any hazards which might occur when attending the DHIS2 Annual Conference.
The Academy Organizers reserve the right to amend the Annual Conference program, including making changes to the speakers/facilitators appearing and/or subjects covered. No refunds can be granted in case of cancellation of speakers/facilitators, program change or any other incidents during the Annual Conference which are beyond the control of the Organizers.
The Organizers reserve the right to move the Conference to a larger or smaller venue, if the level of participant registrations warrants.
The name badge must be worn at all times during the Annual Conference. Access to the venue will not be granted without the DHIS2 name badge.
Participants requiring an official invitation letter can request one by email. Participants must first register to the Annual Conference.
It is the sole responsibility of the participant to take care of his/her visa requirements. Participant who require an entry visa must allow sufficient time for the application procedure.
The Organizers will collect and store data for the preparation, the execution of the event and after the event for marketing purposes.
The HISP Centre performs monthly e-mailings (which include photographs/videos) and/or communications on social media regarding DHIS2 Academies and events. If you do not wish to appear in the marketing visuals, please send an email to aliceal@ifi.uio.no.
Email contact details of participants will not be passed on to third parties. Participants may unsubscribe from these mailing campaigns at any time.
